Ronald Ramos is a registered Electronics and Communications Engineer of the Philippines. He graduated from St. Louis University, Baguio City, Philippines in 1994.

During his college days, he already showed exceptional talent in computer programming. He would be seen crunching bits and bytes just to keep his BASICA program run on an 80186 processor with 640 Kilobytes of memory in his free time. In the school’s laboratory, he would be running HEX codes in Z80 processor.

At his last year in college, he was in loved with Pascal programming language. He created an anti-virus that removes the most famous virus at that time “Sayhawatpu”. He also created a generic anti-virus that removes boot viruses. But his passion to Pascal never lasted so long. He was hooked to the C programming language and eventually to C++ and recently to C#.

Since 2000, he developed applications using Visual C++ using MFC and Win32. He was one of the many developers who embraced the .NET Framework released in 2002. He co-developed a school enrollment and financial software using ASP.NET in 2003.

Currently, he is busy developing the SMS-based Inventory, Accounting and Sales system and Credit Cooperative System. He is also involved in GSM-SMS(Text) application development for SMEs and corporates. He also created and maintains the website of his home town at http://www.lakay-lakay.com.
